bring me your tired, poor, huddled, outdated synthesizers, yearning to breathe free again...

    i am a madison,WI based musician/student and i'm looking for any old
analog synthesizers, analog drum machines, sequencers, samplers, modules,
etc. that might be just sitting around collecting dust, either by lack of
use, since today's technology has past these old dinosaurs by, or by
simply stopping playing keyboards altogether. i do techno/electronic
music with these things (i can even download some samples of things i've
done, if you're interested) and i've found that today's digital synths
don't sound quite the same, and are lacking a certain feel that analog
synths offer. they also lack the hands on feel of the interface that the
older synths had, that has been tossed by the wayside by most companies
producing keyboards today.

if you need money to pay the rent, tuition, or whatever, i usually have
cash ready within the week (or if absolutely necessary, i can direct you
to someone else locally that might be interested).

PLEASE, don't let these things just sit around, or worse, don't sell them
to some dealer in NY who is just going to turn around and sell them for a
quick buck. keep them local, and get them to someone who is going to use
them. BEWARE OF SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A 303, 909, 808, etc. i'd like them
too, but they are extremely expensive ($700.00 to $1100.00), so i
couldn't afford them, even if i really wanted to buy them.

CHECK IT OUT BEFORE YOU SELL!!!! i would much rather deal with someone
that knows the market value of a synth. it's just easier that way, for me
anyway. i'm looking to pay market value of these synthesizers, NOT
$50.00, like some joe schmoe would try to pay you for your 303. CHECK IT
OUT!!!

I'M NOT LOOKING FOR YAMAHA PSR-SERIES or ANY CASIO BOARDS!!!

i am looking for the following. please note that some of the prices
aren't low ball offers, i just would only buy them at that price:

roland: jx-10: $250.00, tr-707: $75.00
korg: mono-poly: $250.00
ARP: solus: $150.00
yamaha: dx-11: $150.00
sequential circuits: prophet-2000: $100.00

the following are things i already own, so i wouldn't be interested in
having more than one of them (except the 606 and msq-700):

roland: juno-106, jx-3p, mc-202, tr-505, tr-606, msq-700 (sequencer)
oberheim matrix-1000
yamaha: dx-100, tx-81z
sequential circuits prophet-600
korg ms-20

mackie cr-1604 (mixer)
alesis 3130 (comp,/lim.), monitor two's
digitech studio quad (fx)

thanx,

three things to remember about me:
1) i'm not a dj
2) i have no intentions of becoming a dj
3) i'm not a washer and dryer repairman either
