First, please excuse the repeat in the uwo.comp.pegasus group, i am now also posting to bit.listserv.pmail in hopes that someone can help. OK, first I should explain what this is: Many mail systems implement a bottom-to-top philosophy in mails, which I also prefer. You answer a mail at the top, not the bottom, followed by a separator of some sort. So you immediately see the newest text and can page down into previous dialog as desired: Hi, this is Ralph... bla bla bla All the best, [signature] =========================== hi, Ralph ... (previous message which I am now answering). . . Pegasus implements this feature, supposedly you insert a two-character sequence and when the mail is sent your signature is inserted where the two character sequence is found. But I have not been able to get it to work. Any experience out there? I'd appreciate an e-mail answer if possible at tira@rhein-main.de, because my usenet access is not very reliable, but I'll try to get back here regularly. Thanks, Ralph
