I am posting the following for a friend. Please direct all
questions, inquiries, etc. to

    Barbara Ueberroth
    McLean, VA 22101
    (703) 533-3383

Barbara has a child care business and has several open slots
at the moment. She has operated the business from 1985 to
1989, then closed the business to help her husband in his
architectural practice. She has since reopened the child
care business.

Barbara has 2 children: a 12 year old daughter and an 8 year
old son. She has many years experience in working with
children--teaching horse back riding, substitute teaching,
Sunday school teaching.

Barbara's child care philosophy is to provide a nourishing
and enriching environment. She provides both structured and
unstructured play time, following an established routine
each day. Stories, music, and singing are key features
during the day, as is outdoor play time (weather permitting).

Barbara's hours are 8 to 5:30, Monday through Friday, except
for federal holidays. She also gets 5 paid personal/sick
days. Her vacation is unpaid and is scheduled as two weeks
in August and two weeks at Christmas. Her fee is $150/week.
Barbara provides breakfast, lunch, and two snacks a day.

Barbara likes to interview with both parents to ensure there is
good communication and trust between parents and child care
provider. Barbara provides a written description of the
child's day to the parent (mood, naps, meals, games played,
comments, etc.)
