Some outfit in Tampa, FL, using the name above, has sent a
postcard urging "Your credit card has not been activated..." etc.
etc. It's first class, not bulk mail; but no envelope, and no
indication whatever what credit card might be involved -- and as
much hype as they can fit on a card.

Is it an outright scam? A pitch for one of the worst credit
card deals in the business? Why else? It does have fine print about
a "special offer," which sounds like a tip-off.

My guess is that it's some piece of loan sharkery which is
legal -- by the skin of its teeth -- and shouldn't be. Anybody know
any more? I'm certainly not about to call them! But if it's what I
think, I'd love to hear of them being sentenced to a few decades at
hard labor.

Those of you who like messing with dirty-nasties may wish
to watch your mail for the like.
