For folks that want a little truth about blacks in the 
Confederate Army I would recommend a book called BLACK 
SOUTHERNERS IN GRAY--Essays on Afro-Americans in Confederate 
Armies. published by Southern Heritage Press  P O Box 1615  
Murfreesboro, Tennessee  37133-1615.

Also, for any that may be interested, I have just had a booklet 
printed up that deals with what a farce the "Emancipation 
Proclamation" was and it details Lincoln's real reasons for 
issueing it (hardly humanitarian). If interested you can e mail
