Blacksburg Cable TV, now Booth Communications, is in the process of being sold/taken over by Adelphia Cable. Folks in Blacksburg have grown comfortable with Booth's occasional outages and interruptions, its lack of responsiveness to requests to add channels, and its rate increases to improve the system so it can add more pay-per-view channels. But there isn't much known about Adelphia, just rumors. Some of the rumors are that things will get better, others state the opposite. So, anyone who is a customer of Adelphia or is familier with the company and its service, please provide us with some insight as to what to expect after the change. Will life be better? Or should the residents begin looking into Direct TV and like services? Bruce in Blacksburg -- Bruce B.
