I'm relatively new to the area, (2 years), from Boston.
When I first moved here, my boss and associates screamed that I was a Boston
Cabbie, I drove like a mad-man, and was your typical inconsiderate S.O.B...
In the time I've been here, I've found the NOVA drivers to be pretty
considerate, and mostly polite.
In fact, it's even worn off on me.
Now, the same people driving with me comment on how much I've "calmed-down",
and am so much more "nice" to other drivers.
I tell 'em "what comes around, goes around"...
Now I know all the back streets through the district, to avoid the "parking
lots" like New York Ave., and can get where I want to go without spending
all that time sitting still.
Y'know what? I like it like this, I'm more relaxed behind the wheel these
days.
Thanks to all those out there who "give an inch" on the roads....
