I bet a good portion of those involved in the accident managed to stop before hitting the guy in front of them and then were rear ended resulting in their vehicle being pushed into the vehicle in front. One would hope that in the future at least 100+ drivers will slow down, increase follow distance, and (if they don't have the no-skip type brakes) learn ways of slowing down and stopping on ice. But I suspect that most of the drivers will not learn a single thing!
