Yeah...I remember someone posting about that accident sometime ago. IIRC, I responded, how does enforceing the speed limit in good conditions reduce accidents in bad conditions? If you ever get the chance, drive route 460 between Blacksburg and Princeton (WV). Giles Co. is one big speed trap.
