I have co-workers who've lived in both Virginia and Maryland. From what I've gathered from them, the VA personal property tax ends up being more expensive than MD's piggy-back tax. Not by much though. Both taxes are bogus, though. Just another way to fleece the populous. Doc -- Just a guy with his own opinions. "I only know everything when you ask the right questions."
