Boat Sales Surge Into New Century

The U.S. pleasure boat market recorded its best advance in over a
decade with smaller craft joining their big-boat brethren to drive new
boat sales up six percent to 605,000 units and retail sales up 20
percent to $23 billion, according to estimates by the National Marine
Manufacturers Association (NMMA).
