     Ticonderoga Farms invites you to come to the country on that
hot and hazy day in the city when the sidewalks start to melt.  -
Remember us then - fresh breezes clean air. The smell of new hay
a summer picnic, a moonlit ride - whatever your pleasure we will
accommodate your desires.

     And don't forget us on those cold and chilly evenings, under
a full moon, when you can come to the country and experience a
roaring bonfire on a cold night with marshmallows or hot dogs &
whatever your favorite beverage might be after a snug ride in one
of our hay wagons.

     Or on a lighter note PUMPKINS!  Pumpkins by the hundreds,
pumpkins by the thousands - take a hay ride  to a pumpkin patch
with scarecrows and goblins.  A free pumpkin and cup of cider for
the children - one or a hundred. (We even have an antique cider
mill with demonstrations of cider making and other farm
activities).  Perfect for class outings and birthday parties
which can be combined with a short lecture on how farmers farm,
why plants are important or on any other agricultural or
environmental topic.  We have trained lecturers available at no
extra charge. 

     And of course there is our Christmas festival - a month long
celebration of pine and fir trees (Virginia's largest choose and
cut Christmas tree farm with over 60,000 to choose from), holiday
spirits and the great outdoors, free hayrides, Santa (on
weekends), our own gift shop, greenhouses for Christmas flowers
and much, much more.

     We are open 363 days of the year by appointment only.
