I'm hoping someone might be able to help me locate where higher end
lacrosse sticks are sold. We purchased a lacrosse stick at Modells a
couple of weeks ago only to discover that it is "junk". The other
lacrosse team mates on our daughters lacrosse team use "Apex" and
"Tempest, or Tempus (sp?)" sticks.

More pricey but much better quality.

However, the only places that we are aware of that sells these type of
sticks are in remote locations from our Herndon home (e.g. Baltimore
etc.).

Does anyone know any local (e.g. No. Va.) stores that stock the
higher end lacrosse equipment?

The run of the mill sport stores typically sell the lower quality $30
sticks that, apparently, are for little kids and not the serious
lacrosse player.

cheers.
