Now that the fine art of fleecing the taxpayers to pay for egoboo has
turned into an cross-Potomac competition, where will the stadium end up?

My guess is that the Expos will end up in DC, at the New York Avenue
site. Virginia pols will be under a bit of extra budget heat because of
the stalling of car-tax repeal and the veto of death-tax repeal, and they
don't have a realistic site (Pentagon City is too congested and too close
to two points of security concern, Rosslyn is too expensive, and Dulles is
too far out).

(In a rational world, where a team owner who wants a new toy is expected
to pay for it himself, RFK would be fixed up, but we don't live in a
rational world.)
