Most Network Stations dont really care about the West Coast so they air east coast live shows whenever they can schedule it in. West coast citizens are considered second class citizens anyway to the networks. They just feel that they wont be around much longer anyway do to earth quake faults etc, and know they will eventually drift off to sea, so they feel why worry about them, when they can focus on those who really matter on the east coast where real decisions are made.
