Walk to Van Dorn Metro Station, Landmark Mall, restaurants, shopping and only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Washington DC. Fancy that! I have a 1 BR 1BA condo for rent in Skyline Plaza. (3701 S. George Mason Drive, Fairfax Co - very near the point where Alexandria/Fairfax/Arlington come together.) This is a deluxe unit with 20'x6' balcony with a Washington DC view. Eat in kitchen has washer/dryer, dishwasher, ice-maker/frig. Total size is about 960 sq. ft. Building has pentagon bus at door (if you work in the Pentagon or near metro you don't have to worry about the rain.) Likewise, NOVA is walking distance away. Rent of $850/month includes ALL UTILITES. (You only pay for telephone. You don't need cable as you can get over 12 stations easily.) Tenants have just left and I will give a allowance to a tenant who is ready/willing/and able to take the place as is and do the necessary clean/up paint/touch up.
