Even better than what I proposed, since nothing gets into the groups except
subscriber comments (my idea would have just kept non-subscriber posts out of
DECUServe, which isn't really what you want).

Send someone email and let him repost it if he thinks it is worth it. If you
have the right answer, people aren't going to care where it came from, and it
will have been posted by a legitimate subscriber. Personally, I'll pay the $60
(or whatever it is) to be able to post, if that's all I have to do other than
read the stuff in news.
