I'm looking for a cheap or free version of TCP/IP for a MicroVax II,
running VMS 5.5. If anyone has any suggestions at all I would
appreciate them.
  Thanks,

The least expensive alternative that I know about is the CMU-TEK product. Read
the FAQ for pointers to it. As for inexpensive, MultiNet only runs about $2k
for a uVax II and it is certainly a far better product than CMU-TEK (being
commercial and extremely well supported). I expect that with the growing
competition in the TCP/IP market, the rest of the vendors aren't going to be
far off that price (and since TCPware is sold in small modules, they may even
come out quite low).
