Simple Alpha SYSGEN question: (OpenVMS Alpha V1.0) $ mcr sysgen show wsinc Parameter Name Current Default Min. Max. Unit Dynamic -------------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ---- ------- WSINC 1200 2400 0 -1 Pagelets D internal value 75 150 0 -1 Pages D WSINC_SYS 0 0 0 -1 Pagelets D What's "internal value" for? Pointers to appropriate documentation (OLD, 'cause that's all I have access to) would be great - I couldn't find anything in my quick search. (I thought it was the page/pagelet conversion based on the page size of the box, but some other parameters (SPTREQ, CLISYMTBL) don't show an internal value.) -Dan Wing, dwing@uh01.colorado.edu or wing_d@ucolmcc.bitnet (DGW11) Systems Administrator, University Hospital, Denver

And 75 * 16 is certainly = 1200. > (I thought it was the page/pagelet conversion based on the page size of > the box, but some other parameters (SPTREQ, CLISYMTBL) don't show an internal > value.)
