Is there a way to implement "execute only" logical names? That is, a logical name that cannot be translated by the user for the purpose of looking at the value, but may be otherwise used. e.g. $ define/system FOO$TEMP "HOST""USERNAME PASSWORD""::DISK$FOO:[TEMP]" But where you would want to hide the username and password from $ SHOW LOG FOO$TEMP

Can you not achieve a similar effect with a proxy login to the remote node, and a suitable check in the remote LOGIN.COM file?
