   I'm looking for a VMS MAIL frontend replacement. Preferably one that
can be screen based and possibly have a line (VMS MAIL style) interface
for those who login over low speed modem lines. The caveat is, can this
mail frontend also run on UNIX (whatever flovor)? I've looked at ELM
and it is UNIX only. I'm also looking at PINE, but it may have the same
problem.

   This is for a project to have a standard mail frontend for the university
mainframes and workstations. PC mailers already exists here, but I would be
interested in any opinions on what other people are using.
