The messages go to the D channel because the forwarding address is incorrect.
The sit in the D channel because VMS MAIL to that remote address is busted.
(VMS MAIL/account problem -- has nothing to do with PMDF.)  See my earlier
reply to you where this is all discussed at much more length.
