It's getting near time to retire our old VAX 8600. It has been suggested that we can get a 6210 pretty cheap on the used market and upgrade it to a 6240 by adding boards. The 8600 has some unreplaceable UNIBUS tape drive on it, (TS-11 lookalikes with Digi-data VHS drives), so we would need to put a UNIBUS adapter on the new machine. We can get that used, too. Now, my question is: since we will already have a UNIBUS on the 6000, can I run my UNIBUS DHU-11 terminal muxes on it? I KNOW that DEC doesn't _support_ it, but will it _work_? -- -- Vern Cole -- Systems Manager -- Utah Valley Community College --
