Next month, the Info-VAX monthly posting will include a "how to
find software" feature. I've already collected pointers to MX,
UUCP, GNU software in general and GCC/G++ in particular, and
ANU NEWS. I've seen a number of questions pop up frequently, so
I'll be including the answers. If there is a widely used package
(I mean used by virtually everybody) that you know of that should
be in such a posting, let me know.

I'm also in the market for pointers to the widely known/respected
VMS/Ultrix software archives. Any address, FTP or mail server,
would be appreciated.

Please reply by mail to keep the clutter down.

Thanks,

Dick Munroe (In my role as Info-VAX coordinator).
