I have a memory problem question that I posed to vmsnet.networks.tcp-ip.ucx
readers but no luck...

Here goes...

VAXstation 3100 model 30, 16Mb, VMS 5.4, UCX V1.3

When trying to establish a telnet or ftp session, I get the following...

$ telnet
TELNET>connect
_To: remote.internet.node
%UCX-E-TELNET_CRSOCK, Failed to set up socket configuration.

-SYSTEM-F-INSFMEM, insufficient dynamic memory
TELNET>

I have religiously followed the installation manual by the letter 
and increased the non-paged dynamic memory by >= 342000 and also the
paged dynamic memory by >= 342000 and here is the current $ show memory
status...

Of the physical pages in use, 7549 pages are permanently allocated to VMS.

error is intermittent but it doesn't work about 95 attempts out of 100... :-(

Any suggestions/tips/help most appreciated...
