I was wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on my
problem? I've got a DEC 90TL terminal server that has replaced
a DECserver 200. During its service the DECserver 200 always had
a count of zero in the User/System Buffer Unavailable field. With
the DEC 90TL each day looks like this:

DECserver 90TL V1.0 BL34-10 LAT V5.1 ROM 2.0.0 Uptime: 17 03:33:15

Seconds Since Zeroed: 83520 Frames Sent, 1 Collision: 3
Bytes Received: 34547971 Frames Sent, 2+ Collisions: 4
Bytes Sent: 8387598 Send Failures: 0
Frames Received: 431596 Send Failure Reasons: 0000000000
Frames Sent: 182067 Receive Failures: 0
Multicast Bytes Rcv'd: 8143983 Receive Failure Reasons: 0000000000
Multicast Bytes Sent: 14632 Unrecognized Destination: 0
Multicast Frames Rcv'd: 119408 Data Overrun: 0
Multicast Frames Sent: 124 User Buffer Unavailable: 36
Frames Sent, Deferred: 200 System Buffer Unavailable: 1

The manual says that the buffer unavailable counters should be fewer than 2.
I see in the latest Telecom and Networks Buyer's Guide that the 90TL can take
between 1-4 megabytes of memory. Ours has only 1. The local DEC office knows
nothing about how to upgrade the memory size. So does anyone know to upgrade
the 90TL to more memory? Otherwise how can I get the 90TL to allocate its memory
differently as its only using 63% of its memory?
