I have a remote printer, queued through a Decserver 300, which just recently began stalling after jobs were submitted to the queue. Using NCP I was able to test the port on the terminal server and had output printed on the DEC LA324 Multiprinter. As the line doesn't appear to be the problem, and the LAT Symbiont is working fine on the other queues which this queue is allocated to, I am not sure where to go next. This is the only queue that this is occurring on, the other remote printer work fine. No changes have been made in SYS$STARTUP for the queue startup routines. We are running VMS 5.3 on a uVax 3900. Any suggestions? Answers to pillinc@gov.on.ca would be greatly appreciated -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Christopher Pilling - Ministry of the Environment Internet: pillinc@gov.on.ca FAX: 416-323-4493 Phone: (416) 323-4269
