Hi there, folks. I am the proud owner (well, ok, MANAGER) of a nifty turbo LPS20 printer. (damned nice, that..). Anyway, the printer is very good at doing what you tell it-- i.e., I have been able to crank out real nice POSTSCRIPT documents, as well as other stuff. My first need, however, is quite simple.... I have several large *ASCII* text files that I want to print, but I would like to use a somewhat smaller FONT than the "default" font used for ANSI-type files. Is there some simple (equivalent) way to set this up for a LPS20? I've previously had a lot of experience setting up HP printers with system device control libraries (I had to consult my HP technical book, manually edit in some font types, etc). However, I am unfamiliar with what "text size" (etc) escape sequences to use for the ANSI mode in the LPS20. Has some kind soul out there done some work on this? -- Kent C.
