We have a Micro VAX II and the tape drive is not
working for unknown reasons. It copies all the data to the
tape and then complains something is wrong. Are there any
consultants in Maryland/DC area whose rates are reasonable to
get this fixed?

Please respond only by email as I don't have direct access to this
group.

Thanks!

I'd be happy to come to Maryland and solve your problems.
My rates to get this fixed would be quite reasonable, since
you've clearly done all the preliminary work and knows exactly
	what you want.

It's a good thing you included the exact error code, since
otherwise nobody could help you. Conspiratorially winking
at you, let me tell you, sometimes people post to this newsgroup
but instead of including an error code, they say "complains
that something is wrong." Those people frustrate people
like me, who are always here to try and help. See we like
to help (so does Carl Lydick) but it's tough when those bad
guys won't say what's wrong. I'm glad you were kind enough
to include an error code, and an indication of which command
you used to generate it, as well as your system configuration,
	version, and an errorlog analysis...

Oh yes, I hope you don't mind my cc'ing my response to
the group. I'm often accused of not being helpful, and
I wanted to be sure and help pass this information on to
anyone else who might be having similar problems, so they
	too can be resolved.

Hey, if you're not too busy, I'll come up and consult
for you, diagnosing this particular problem.

#Thanks!

	Any time! Just ask!
