VMS V5.5 Upgrade Questions

We're planning on upgrading our V5.4-3 mixed-interconnect VAXcluster to V5.5-1
of VMS tomorrow evening (Tue.). In preparation for this task I thought I'd
query this group to see if anyone had any "last minute" suggestions or
recommendations regarding this upgrade. Our system disk is a shadow set
comprised of two (2) RA90's. I am familiar with the fact that one cannot
upgrade a shadow set, and plan on making it a "regular" disk during the
upgrade. I've also heard that there are still some problems associated with
print/batch queues, after the upgrade completes. That is my primary interest
on this message - print/batch queue problems.

Feel free to e-mail me or post a response here. Any pieces of info will be
appreciated!

V5.5 upgrade is very friendly in the step towards the new queue system.
It lets You finish the upgrade to A5.5-x still using the old queue system.
With the new system running , You have time to plan the queue system upgrade,
a command procedure is prepared to do this. And You should not do that BEFORE
reading the release notes carefully!

Don't update the queueing system during the upgrade; if you try to
do so, that portion will fail. After the upgrade you'll be running A5.5
instead of V5.5 and there is a command procedure documented in the
installation guide which will complete the upgrade from A5.5 to V5.5.
You could also keep the old queue system and update to A5.5-1.

After the upgrade, be sure to check and possibly reset your system
clock. Chances are pretty high that it'll be off by a year. If you do
reset it by that large amount, you should probably reboot immediately...
