Ave,

I'm writing up my thesis using Winword and I have encountered an enoying
problem. I have a whole series of graphics which I want to incorporate.
The graphics are from rendering software and outputted in e.g. tif.
I insert the pictures in Winword 7.0, and it looks OK on the screen.
But, when I try to print them on a deskjet (HP 600 series and Epson Stylus)
the background of the figures (which is supposed to be white) appears
as a dotted background. I don't have the problem when I print on an
HP IIISi laser printer. I also don't have any problems when printing
the figures from a graphics program like Adobe Photoshop. The problem
seems to be related to the combination Winword/Deskjet.
Is there anybody who has an explanation for this problem, and a
work around (if possible).

Thanks in advance,

Greetings,

ps: I prefer personal mail since writing a thesis doesn't give me the
time to browse through all usenet groups. ;-)
