Sponsors are sought for a research project involving small mobile robots leading to a Robot Soccer competition in Singapore at the end of this year. The project involves building 6 autonomous mobile robots at a cost of about $500 each. The first robot is already under construction and will be ready for basic demonstrations in about two weeks. Financial assistance is needed to offset the cost of the robots, some test equipment, and travel expenses to international conferences in July and November. Any amount of assistance will be gratefully received, however, contributions of $500 or more will secure full naming and promotional rights to at least one Robot. In return, the sponsor will have the opportunity to receive exposure at international conferences and exhibitions, and will be acknowledged in subsequent publications that involve the sponsored robots. If your company is interested in promoting itself through support of this state of the art project, then for more information please contact: Marcus.Anderson@newman.curtin.edu.au
