Any ore out of the Kimberly which is where the >>> Uranium is goes to a Kimberley Port where there >>> are rail lines. Uranium Ore is not radio active. If it was there would >>> be thousands of dead workers which handle the >>> ore by hand every day of the week. >> >> Bullshit , uranium ore does have low levels of radiation in it's natural >> state (U235 & U238 ) and it is refined into yellow cake that has a higher >> concentration of radioactive elements. >> Also Yellow Cake if fairly toxic to people , it is a heavy metal , just >> like mercury and lead. >> >> Why don't you get your facts straight , I bet you don't even live in WA , >> and have no idea where are the iron ore ports are located , not to >> mention the fact that the rail lines from the iron ore depostis to the >> ports are PRIVATELY OWNED , so you will have quite a problem trying to >> get access to those rail lines as was the case recently . > > Another moron taht has no clues or ideas. Well at least I KNOW where the iron ore ports in WA are located and that the iron ore rail lines are PRIVATELY OWNED. > Most mines in WA extract Uranium Ore with minerals like Gold. > Then its sent to Perth to remove the urtanium ore to be left with the > Gold. > No one has died or been eradiated by uranium ore. > > In SA miners touch the uranium ore with their hands you fool. > Its so safe. If it was deadly where are all the bodies fool. > The unions allow members to work for companies that mine > for Uranium in SA fool. Safe do you reckon ? That's what the big companies said about blue asbestos back in the 1940s - 50s Just because the workers don't show any adverse symptoms immediatly doesn't mean that they have none , maybe they will show illness / cancers in 10 - 20 years time for mining uranium. Also the mining sector , particulary in WA have a very bad work safety record. >>> Nuclear Waste is a by product from nuclear reactors. >>> I cannot believe the media in WA not looking at these false ads at all. >>> People are believing it in the masses. >> >> Then the media should also be looking at the false and deceptive adverts >> that Barnett is using. > > There have been no real ads yet from the Libs. > >> >>> >>> WA has to be the worst educated state in Australia. People are believing >>> that >>> uranium ore is radio active because the premier is saying that. >> >> Physics is not one of your strong points is it ? , perhaps you missed >> those classes and opted to go and get pissed out of your tiny brain at >> all those Young Liberal parties , I have heard all about them from other >> sources than the media. >> >>> Come on Perth media do your job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >>> >>> The Libs ought to do an ad from South Aust showing miners handling the >>> uranium ore. >> >> Typical Liberal idealist and how to treat the workers , getting the mine >> workers to expose themselves to dangerous workplace practices all in the >> name of money for big businesses , I wouldn't be surprised if you >> expected the mine workers to work without any personal protection >> equipment ( PPE) > > 160 Uranium Mines in South Austrqalia and growing. Not one single death > by radiation. There are over 20,000 miners on those 160 uranium mines and > the mines have been in operation for 30 years and not a single person has > died > from radiation poising which makes you just another left wing loony that > knows absolutely nothing at all. So if you think it is safe , then why don't you move to SA then ? At least I know how to spell AUSTRALIA Correction , there is not 160 uranium mines in SA for the last 30 years , South Australia has only 3 uranium mines going by the press release by the SA Gov in January 2008 and they are :Honymoon , Olympic Dam and Beverly <http://www.pir.sa.gov.au/minerals/press/south_australias_third_uranium_mine_approved>http://www.uraniumsa.org/http://www.uic.com.au/emine.htmMaybe the so called "160 Uranium Mines in South Austrqalia" ( note spelling! ) are really just exploration licenses or claims/ proposed mines , orperhaps you have googled wrong and come up with SA as in SOUTH AFRICA.Probably you have been reading little Johnny Howard's bible about hisuranium empire if he had won the Nov 2007 federal election.I think you are the real moron around here.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Naked DSL ?No thanks , I like to wear clothes when I use my computerSandgroper------------------------------------Remove KNICKERS to Emailwoodbudgie@KNICKERSgmail.com
