You're confusing 2PP and primaries, which partly explains your faulty
answer above.

Primaries is the percentage of people who put "1" next to the party of
their choice. (That's why when you add up the major party primaries it
doesn't reach 100%).

2PP is about effective preferences, and does add up to 100%
