Actually Colin, I saw a house for $249,000 in a fairly
close suburb. But it had a condemned notice from local
council glued to the door, saying thing such as

Remove broken glass, mouldy refuse and faeces
Clean and disinfect the floor and walls

Plenty of houses under $200,000 in WA but they are not coastal and no
one wants to live south of the river these days.

Too many complain and are living way beyond their means.
The poor all have 50"plasma screens and waste their money on things
they can't afford.

They have no concept of saving money.
They all want air conditioners as standard, well the premiere doesn't
even have air conditioning.
