There are baby boomers everywhere but where are the bars/venues in Perth or the suburbs that have live or canned DJ music of the 60's and 70's????? It seems incredible to me that we have such a large target market whose taste in music is being ignored. The only thing that am aware of is the Saturday night jukebox live thing down at Ogdens Bar down Armadale/?Kelmscott way but that is quite a hike. Geoff

Geoff, Tune in to AM 1080, 6IX and they'll list 20 venues over the course of a day while playing boomer favorites. -- Ray

Ray, the only venue that I have ever heard getting advertised on 6IX is that Sat night jukbox thing - which altho good is too far away for me. Do you know of any other venue names? Do you >know of any other venue names? Ogdens Pub in Gosnell's and The Council Club in Midland both come to mind. You could also watch Moose Goes Live on Access 31 (8:30pm Fridays repeated at 9:30pm Tuesdays) for a weekly offering of music that mostly appeals to the Boomer crowd. Each week, there's a different house band on and they always discuss the venues where you can catch them playing. -- Ray
