To all the people that I have offended over many years I offer this my
unreserved apology. I have made many claims at different times and
some of them are true. To those who have been causing me problems
please stop because I am having a lot of trouble coping at the moment
what with the weight problem and so forth its all getting a bit much.

Oh and merry christmas Mark, mate I wish I could make it up to you
someday.

Once again I am very sorry to anyone I have offended.

In order for your message to reach all your offended readers, you will need
to broadcast your message via satellite to all four corners of the
world!!!!

Nope, that won't work.

Satellite communications are only used on thin streams, i.e., low traffic
routes. For example, there are no satellite circuits to the UK or to New
Zealand. Thick routes are all submarine cable. In fact, over 98% of
Australian international telecoms are on submarine cable. I used to work in
that field as the Marine Manager for Telstra (now Reach Global Networks -
see http://www.reach.com/en/global/cable_sat.php) responsible for
maintenance of the international submarine cables (by the use of cable
ships - see http://www.iscpc.org/information/ships.htm - for Australian
cables, we used the CS Pacific Guardian, the CS Asean Restorer, and the CS
Cable Retriever ) If you wondered how we repaired them, see
