gInstall Corp. announces the official release of Ghost Installer
Studio 2.0, its next generation software installation platform.

MUNICH -- Nov. 8, 2001 -- Today gInstall Corp. publicly announced that
after more than a year of development it is ready to release its next
generation software installation platform - Ghost Installer Studio
2.0. Fully compatible with all versions of Microsoft Windows including
Windows XP, this product will provide a solid foundation for gInstall
future development. With Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 gInstall will
redefine the standard for software distribution by providing highly
reliable platform with a wide range of applications for software
installation. gInstall and its industry partners will formally launch
the product on Nov. 19, 2001.

Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 delivers value with new features targeted
in following areas:

- Better Installer. Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 was developed with
customer feedback in mind and introduces a fundamentally new
architecture to make the software more powerful, reliable and
customizable. gInstall managed to develop the most compact
installation engine with the best compression and the highest
reliability factor in the industry.

- Plug-Ins. Rather than being monolithic software, Ghost Installer 2.0
consists of a compact engine that runs different Plug-Ins. The Plug-In
API makes Ghost Installer 2.0 a true platform as it allows the
development of entirely new Plug-Ins. gInstall will offer several
Plug-Ins with Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 and is also expecting a
number of third party Plug-Ins to be released in the next months.

- Compatibility. Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 integrates seamlessly with
all 32-Bit versions of Microsoft Windows including Windows XP. Its
supports Windows XP visual styles as well as the common user interface
of the previous Windows generations.

- Better user experience. Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 offers many ways
to guarantee the best possible user experience. One way to improve
user experience is to create unique, stylish appearance for a setup.
This is possible with Mr.Skinner - a Plug-In that gInstall ships with
Ghost Installer Studio 2.0. Another Plug-In that makes software
installation more comfortable is WebDeploy Plug-In. It makes
installations from the Web possible, saving the bandwidth and always
installing the most up-to-date software.

- Best security with RSA. Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 provides the best
software protection in the industry by employing RSA encryption and
personal serial numbers. gInstall expects that strong encryption and
individually assigned serial numbers will help reduce the illegal use
of distributed software and increase its profitability by up to 50%
and more.

Availability

gInstall will make Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 widely available on Nov.
19, 2001. It will ship the software in two editions: Ghost Installer
Studio 2.0 and Ghost Installer 2.0 Free Edition.

Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 will be available as a commercial package
with a one-year subscription for updates and technical support. It
will contain following products: Ghost Installer 2.0, gDesigner IDE
2.0, WebDeploy Plug-In and

Mr.Skinner Plug-In.

Ghost Installer 2.0 Free Edition will be available free of charge and
will feature the full version of Ghost Installer 2.0 and Mr.Skinner
Plug-In. Even though it will not contain the gDesigner IDE and the
WebDeploy Plug-In, Ghost Installer 2.0 Free Edition will be the most
complete, free solution for software installation.

A third edition, Ghost Installer Studio 2.0 RSA will be released two
weeks later, on Dec. 3, 2001 and will feature RSA Serial Number Kit in
addition to other components of the Ghost Installer Studio 2.0.
