I tried out directtv satellite for 3 months and was never so pissed in all
my life.
On top of the networking commercials, directtv put in even more commercials.
They claimed it was the networks doing it. Bullshit.
You can tell who's adding the commercials in.
And the very worst of them? The sci-fi channel.
Every other commercial is an add for a network show.

What ever happened to the idea that because you're now paying for the shows,
you don't get commercials?
Or at least the numbers would be cut down.
I have charter now and quit paying for the movie channels simply because
there was nothing new to watch and what was being shown was on an endless
loop.
How many times in a week, or day, can you show the same movie?

I'm now at the point where I don't give a damn about watching tv as it is,
because there has been absolutely nothing new on the airwaves in over 3
years, if not 5.

As has been said, the history channel repeats WWII footage like it was first
run stuff every damn day.
Discovery channel pays way to much attention to forensic stuff and crime
reports that are so old it's pathetic.

I was watching the thing about wake island. One idiot stood there and said,
"And a certain young GEORGE W BUSH flew over the island in a....."
Duhhh. Excuse me. That would have been daddy, not GW. G W wasn't born until
1946.

O K so maybe it was a slip of the tongue.

When is enough enough?
Why don't we all ban together and pull the plug on cable?
When they have no viewers, they'll get the message.
