How's THIS for a cable-TV channel idea?

With the possible exception of the Discovery Channel, there has yet to
be seen any semblance of a cable-TV channel as can be considered to
be "natural" or "organic."

By that, I mean a channel whose programming does not necessarily rely
on tacky or gimmicky scripts or formulae, that can be whatever it wants
to be (or at least tries to), cf. the British curiosa video
series "Open Spaces." Yet featuring by necessity the use of a compere
as could host various segments in lieu of the programming as would be
so featured.

The concept I have in mind: THE WISCONSIN DELLS CHANNEL.

24/7 during the summer months especially (extending especially from May
until the Wo-Zha-Wa weekend), featuring plenty of Wisconsin Dells and
nothing but. Especially when done up in the style of those nature
videos as close the occasional broadcast of "CBS Sunday Morning" to
kill time by and large.

Interspersed with the likes of "interesting people" interview segments
from the likes of The Broadway and the waterparks especially, plus some
commentary and interviews with any VIP types as may cross paths with
the Dells region--all interspersed with choice music.

Yet at the same time avoiding the impression that such is nothing but
one giant infomercial of the worst sort by adopting a free-flowing, all-
natural, all-organic style of programming. That is to say, a style as
avoids tacky scripting or equally tacky conventions as can be fodder
for the ilk of MST3K, yet still gushes forth with "Wisconsin Dells"
throughout.

(Or, put simply, essentially avoiding that "Wisconsin Dells
Entertainment Network" formula as can be found on cable channel 12 in
the Dells region through the summer.)

How you may think of the idea, I know not. I will, however, leave it
here for possible dellscussion and debate as to its merits. Or want
thereof, for that matter.
