Does anyone have any idea where to go for paper that is essentially a handmade fiber paper with leaves & flowers, etc. pressed into it? I hope I'm describing it well enoughh... Natural fiber paper with pressed foliage? Maybe that's better. anyway, I'm looking for a store in Southeastern WI or Chicagoland for the stuff. Basically anywhere from Milwaukee to Chicago. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it. Please either follow-up all newsgroups or email me directly. thanks, Tom

There's also a couple of places around the Clark/Broadway/Diversey intersection, iirc. Emanuel "Everybody wants a normal life and a cool car; most people settle for the car." There's a small corner stationery/stamping store on Kinnickinnnic near St. Francis, just a couple blocks south of Oklahoma, and I believe they carry and order a variety of that stuff. You might also want to check with the Palette Shop on East Capitol near Bakers Square.

Online: http://www.stampin.com/online/accs/paper4.htm#flower_mottled http://www.solum.com/cat_paper_19.html http://www.nidex.com/wrays_fine_papers/handmade.htm http://www.fascinating-folds.com/idc/detail.idc?productid=64022 http://www.artpaper.com/papers/indflower.html (and others at artpaper.com) I used to get some in chinatown too but I don't know the name of the shop or if it is still there. It was mostly origami paper but some handmade as well. Now I just make that type of paper myself (it is more fun to make your own in my opinion). I use a kit from www.hearthsong.com, but you could make your own deckle and mold, and there are tons of websites devoted to papermaking.
