The Ho-Chunk term "Wo-Zha-Wa" (as in the annual,
third-weekend-in-September Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival, Wisconsin Dells) can
be translated as "fun time."

The Australian Aboriginal term "moomba" (as in the Moomba Festival in
Melbourne, Australia every March) can be translated as "let's get
together and have a fun time."

Something in common which the organisers of both festivals may be
unaware of--yet which inspires me to ponder:

Has there been any consideration given for the organisers of the
Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival (Wisconsin Dells) and the Moomba Festival
(Melbourne) to set up a twinning relationship with each other, the
better for the sake of promoting international friendship and goodwill?

Basically put, this would entail, for one, having each other's
ambassadors and royalty appear at each other's parades and festivals
(i.e., the Wo-Zha-Wa royalty appearing at the Moomba Festival, and vice
versa) in the spirit of friendship and goodwill vis-a-vis the common
English translation of native aboriginal words as are the namesakes of
their respective festivals.

You--?
