Whilst listening online (via Windows MediaPlayer) to FoxFM out of Melbourne, Australia (online themselves at http://www.fox.com.au/ for the record) in recent days, I could not help but wonder myself: Doesn't it sound so remarkably like WNNO-FM out of Wisconsin Dells, The Unofficial Radio Station of the Water Capital, in terms of its approach, style of announcer delivery and playlist? (Considering especially the fact of WNNO-FM not currently available "online" via either RealAudio or Windows MediaPlayer. Not to mention the distance.) Perhaps the collective inspiration of Wisconsin Dells denziens every summer as are well-acquainted with WNNO from their seemingly annual pilgrimages Waar Die Pret Natuurlich Gekom (and have listened in to FoxFM via the Internet) may be enough to discern things clearly enough. However, having had some acquaintenance with WNNO-FM 106.9, I must wonder if such sounds so remarkably similar. (For best results, I would suggest spending some time listening to FoxFM off their website, at http://www.fox.com.au/ for the record. The live feed uses Windows MediaPlayer to work properly, so make sure it's installed on your computer first; if you don't have it yourself, you can download it gratis right there at the website. Just make sure your computer useth Windows95, Windows98 or WindowsNT as the operating system; I'm not sure if such works well with Linux, MacOS or other such.) *************************************************************** Sincerely, KAHUNA ACCIDENTALE OF THE DELLS (N.B. Spammers beware: Any and all specimens thereof can expect to be shared with The Proper Channels--AND YOU KNOW WHO THEY ARE!!!) The New Wisconsin Dellscussion: http://members.xoom.com/KahunaDells/ It's Another Prozac Morning in America: the NEW online commentary that's SCHIZOPHRENIC (and then some!) http://www.homestead.com/anotherprozacmorning/ Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.

Fox FM probably sounds so similar, because we play so much America overproduced garbage, rather than more Australian music. Also, the consultants hired, the software used to program it and the modelling for training are generally US based. : Perhaps the collective inspiration of Wisconsin Dells denziens every : summer as are well-acquainted with WNNO from their seemingly annual : pilgrimages Waar Die Pret Natuurlich Gekom (and have listened in to : FoxFM via the Internet) may be enough to discern things clearly enough. : However, having had some acquaintenance with WNNO-FM 106.9, I must : wonder if such sounds so remarkably similar. Oh gosh, could we have mentioned Microsoft one more time, plugged another commercial website or possibly pushed the line any further? What a brochure! Microsoft mediaplayer, Windoze and NoT are BadThings(tm), along with commercial radio in general. Give me Linux, community radio and MP3's any day! Jack@!
