My family and I are moving from Annapolis, Maryland to Buffalo, New York. The only given is the work site which is downtown at Best St. qan and Delaware Ave. I would appreciate comments on: School systems for a second grader: Aera Public, private and Catholic;  Living locations: rent downtown or move to Orchard Park or Wilson (is drive tolerable?); I will be lookingh for a job and will be looking into getting my masters at SUNY. 
Again general comments are welcome, like the snow south of Aurora is worth the drive: True or False?
