There is movement afoot to establish a local 
organization that would discuss issues like network
connectivity, legal issues related to computing, and
possible affiliation with a national organization like EFF.

Currently, we are looking at early-mid January as a date
for an organizational and informational meeting.
Tom Klotzbach from Genesee Community College will
host the initial meeting (this is convenient as it 
is centrally located for Buffalo and Rochester participants).

We will be contacting local law enforcement agencies to 
see what their level of interest in this area is. 
If you know of those in the legal profession who
are interested and/or active in this area, please
pass along our names as possible contacts.

If you are interested or know of someone who is,
please contact one of us for more details.
