ELECTION rules.

Re: Winnipeg Mayor refuses to allow certain Media rep (Charles Adler) to
ask questions at Mayor forum?

I want to know if any other Canadian cities have had anything like this
happen when they have elections for mayor.

In Winnipeg, our mayor Glen Murray has apparently done the following

1. specified that each media station can send one person to ask questions of
the candidates BUT the Mayors office has specifically said that they do NOT
want the CJOB radio station's main talk host Charles Adler to be the one
allowed to ask questions. Their office said apparently, that he would make
the mayor uncomfortable.

2. our Mayor has refused to go on our largest radio station in town this
morning, for an all candides debate

PS: if you are interested, you can hear the live debate at 9am Winnipeg time
on the stations website
www.cjob.com

ELECTION LAW?
I also want to know if there are any laws broken when people steal election
signs off peoples yards as has happened in Winnipeg in the Wolsely area for
one of the Mayors competitors.

Is this called theft of personal property, or trespassing or something else?
