I have PROOF that the end of reality as we know it is here....

I walked into the wedge at 0:15am Wednesday 8/26/92 and saw.....

A 2-liter bottle of CAFFEINE FREE DIET MOUNTAIN DEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTFP????? 

I have this bottle in my possession.... if anyone wishes me to present it
to them as evidence (local of course) find me......

There must not be much time left.....

I regret to inform you all that this is a false alarm.  Were the apocalypse to
be heralded by soft drinks, it would've arrived upwards of two and a half years
ago, with the test marketing (in various remote parts of Maine, one of which I
hail from) of Caffeine Free Diet Jolt.  Please relax, get out of your bomb 
shelters, loosen your sphincters, take a deep breath or two.  We are _not_ 
doomed.

Although I must admit, the doom of creation being prophesied by an object 
borne by Charles Schletzbaum _does_ have a rather convincing ring to it.
