Investigation of *good* sf shows with concepts you don't quite understand
follows Don Bellisario's maxim, originally concocted for Quantum Leap:

"Don't investigate this too closely."

However, investigation of *bad* shows you don't quite get is as follows:

"Don't investigate this too closely...that way lies madness."

Thought you'd like to know.
