Steve,

One option is a product called "Instant Internet" manufactured by
Performance Technology. It is a box that you attach to your
Novell/Windows LAN that allows everyone on the LAN to make a TCP/IP
connection to an Internet provider. It supposedly takes only 15
minutes to install. After installation, all you need to do is put
your winsock applications on each workstation that needs access. A
28,800 modem is built into the Instant Internet, but you can plug in
an external ISDN terminal adapter if you want to go that route.

The box retails at about $3500. One local distributer is Computer
Networking Group, Inc. One of their sales people is Alan Casas. His
phone number is (312) 226-0495 ext. 22. I talked to them at the
recent Windows World expo.

To learn more, there is an article in the July 1995 issue of "Byte"
titled "Short-Order Internet Access" (p. 139) which reviews Instant
Internet and one other product.

How did you get all those Dell's donated?
