Radio Netherlands is the international public radio and television
service of the Netherlands. From headquarters
in Hilversum, an international team of professionals makes radio,
television and Internet productions in 6
languages which are distributed world-wide using medium-wave,
short-wave, FM, satellite and the World
Wide Web. Radio Netherlands also has a global reputation for quality
productions in the fields of classical, jazz,
rock and world music and for its work in training broadcasters active
in other countries.

As the interactive part of our work grows, we have an immediate
vacancy for an

      Internet Producer/Software Researcher

The Profile: You have a keen eye for modern web page design and can
give clear instructions when
commissioning work from outside sources. You can write concisely in
English, Dutch and HTML, working as
part of an editorial team that creates and re-shapes material for
www.rnw.nl. You currently work with
Photoshop and scanning software. You can manipulate audio, video and
pictures on the Windows 95 platform.
Knowledge of software and programming languages like: Java,
Javascript, Adobe Director, Premiere and
Illustrator is an advantage. You are eager to explore software
packages of tomorrow, but you're not a
collector. You thrive by solving practical problems and get a kick
out of helping others, enthusing but not
confusing. You can patiently explain the Internet to the 'technically
challenged', meeting deadlines with a smile.
      You're not a nerd.

      The Small Print:

The salary, depending on age, education and experience, is maximum
Dfl. 5,872.53 gross per month, as laid down in the Dutch
